General Guidelines:
- Prior registration to the conference is required for abstract submission.
- Only the abstracts related to nail conditions will be accepted.
- Abstracts being submitted by PG students will require a forwarding letter from the HOD or Department Faculty.
- Award Paper/E-poster – PG students.
- E-poster is open for all the delegates.
- Free papers for delegates – PG students and practitioners.
- Presenting author can submit a maximum of 2 abstracts. However, only one paper (free/award) would be accepted per delegate for paper presentation, and other submissions from the same delegate will be converted to e-Poster if found suitable.
- The Scientific Committee reserves the discretion to change the category of paper to e-poster.
- The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject any abstract if the abstract is not submitted as per the guidelines.
- Abstracts should be submitted online through e-mail: scientificonychocon24@gmail.com.
- Decision of abstract will be taken by the scientific committee and will be final.
- Please check the conference website from time to time for all updates.
- Last Date for Abstract Submission is 5th November 2024.
- Result will be communicated by e-mail to the submitting author.
- If selected for either paper/poster presentation, you will be recognized as a presenter at the conference. No financial support will be offered to accepted presenters.
Abstract Preparation Guidelines:
- All abstracts must be submitted in English and not previously published in print or electronic media or presented at any other conference.
- Abbreviations must not be used in the title. The title should not be written entirely in capital letters.
- Please use the font Times New Roman, with font size of 12 and double spacing.
- A “blinded” selection process will be used. NO identifying features such as names of authors, collaborators, hospitals, medical colleges, clinics or places should be listed in the title or text page of the abstract. Refrain from using keywords, graphs, figures, tables or references in the abstract.
- Author details and their affiliation(s) should be entered in the mail while doing the submission.
- Title should be should be brief and self-explanatory, clearly indicating the nature of the study
- Word limit should be less than 300 words
- Mention of conflict of interest statement conflict is mandatory.
- After submission, abstract cannot be edited.
Structure of abstract to be arranged with the following subheadings:
Original study:
- Introduction
- Aims & Objectives: Mention purpose of the study.
- Materials & Methods: Describe your selection of observations or experimental subjects precisely.
- Results and Limitation: Describe results in a logical sequence
- Conclusion: Emphasis on new and important aspects of the study and their drawn inferences.
- Conflict of interest: Declaration of conflict of interest is mandatory.
Case report/series:
- Introduction
- Case report/ series
- Discussion
- 2 Postgraduates to register as a team (1 team per college, endorsed by HOD)

NSI Systopic Thesis Award-2024
• Nail Society of India proudly announces “NSI Systopic Thesis Award-2024”.
• The award carries a certificate and an attractive cash prize. The award is sponsored by an educational grant from Systopic Labs Pvt Ltd.
• The award will be judged during the Thesis Award Paper Session to be held during the proceedings of the 13th National Conference of NSI, ONYCHOCON 2024.
We invite our young members to submit their thesis work focussed on nail disorders or their management.:
- The thesis should have been completed and accepted by the respective University during the previous two years (2023, 2024).
- Selected studies will have to be presented during the conference proceedings.
- The student has to register for the conference and present during the conference.
